A Legend is Born Page 4 Months went by as the pups learned more survival skills. However, danger was never too far away. Despite their excellent instincts for avoiding and escaping enemies, they had never expected to see a wolf attack them. Until one day...
It was very sunny all day. The sky was a beautiful shade of blue. There were the most wondrous, whitest, fluffy clouds in the air. No one would ever expect anything to happen on a day like this. So today, Fang and Malefor split up during their hunting.
Malefor was very successful, however Fang was not. He wasn't fast enough for the rodents he saw scurry across the floor. "Prey...." Fang whispered as he saw a still mouse on a large leaf. "Don't move..." he said as he crawled almost silently across the forest floor. Then he pounced, only to miss the mouse, and ram his head into a tree.
"Owwww.... Why cant I catch something as small as a mouse! Why is it that I always fail at such simple hunting tasks!? Is it that I don't hav

Months passed since Fang was abandoned in the forest. He grew up to be a healthy pup, having survived and learning to hunt by himself. Fang was still a baby though.
He was just learning to hunt rodents and vermin. Regardless, he was quite lucky to have survived. One day, he met another wolf pup. A bit older than himself. But he was a bit smaller than Fang. His name was Malefor. They rolled and played and talked. Malefor asked Fang many questions, like where he came from, who his parents were, if he had any siblings, why he had saber fangs. But Fang couldn't answer those questions. He didn't know how. Not because he didn't want to, but because he couldn't remember. He couldn't remember anything from his previous life.
The last thing he could remember was waking up in the forest. And Fang didn't know how to explain it. "Oh, can't you at least tell me what it was like living in a pack of man-made wo
A Legend is Born Page 2 The sun slowly rose from the horizon. The two wolves watched the beautiful morning sunrise as if they would never see it again in their lives. The wolves woke up at dawn, awaiting this very moment- the start of the day. The scientist, however, took his time to relax and sleep. He worked all night on the other wolf creations.
"Eh....time to awaken the others..." he said with a yawn. The wolves jumped to their feet and ran to him like puppies greeting their master. The wolves wondered why he waited for long to awaken the others. "No matter," the male said. "We will have a pack of our own very soon" he said to his mate. The she-wolf nodded. Had it been days since they had first awoken? Hours? Minutes? They had no track of times in their simple tracked minds. All they cared about was other wolves. They didn't care about the world, nor did they want to have such a burden. Unlike normal wolves, these two were saber wolves. They had long saber fangs. They were strong

The moon shone brightly over the silent world below. That silence was not distrubed by any sound. The animals of the forest lay silent. And that silence was broken by a blood thirsty howl. The howl of a wolf. But it was different than any other wolf sound.
At the scene, there was an old man with a white beard, and white labratory clothing.
Beside him stood two wolves. They were different than any other wolf. They were not born naturally into this world. They were created by that scientist.
"My beautiful creations.... you two will be the alpha male and female of your soon-to-be wolf pack. And this pack of wolves will stand above all in power. You all will have powers like no other living creature in existance. Your strength already exceeds that of a bear's. And, my own.... But I can trust that you will remain loyal to me and we can stay companions" the scientist explained. Then he
